After installing and starting the ClearStream On-Board application you do not see it connect to the online portal, here are some things you can look for:
- Make sure the network the device is connected to has internet access.
- Double check all of the IP address settings on the reader. These include things like a valid DNS Server has been set, and a valid Gateway has been assigned.
- Check the Data and Time on the reader. If the date and time are way off this can cause a certificate check to fail, and the device will not connect. After changing the date and time make sure to restart the ClearStream On-Board application.
Zebra RFID Readers - To set the date and time login to the web portal and select the Date and Time menu option. You can set a SNTP server, like time.google.com to have the value set automatically, or manually adjust the date and time using the form.
