ClearStream supports a wide variety of passive hardware devices that collect different types of data. This article describes some of the fields of information that the different device types collect. All of these fields can then be mapped to a destination data source as needed using the Source and Destination Field Mappings configuration grid within ClearStream.
For most RFID devices, these base fields are supported:
- EPC
- TID (when enabled)
- UserMemoryBank (when enabled)
- Antenna
- AntennaPort
- PeakRSSI
- DateTime
- ReaderName
- StartEvent
- Count
- TagEvent
When enabled, RFID readers can pre-parse SGTIN GS1 encoded RFID tags. These fields then become mappable:
- GS1_CompanyPrefix
- GS1_ItemReference
- GS1_SerialNumber
- GS1_GTIN
- GS1_EPCTagURI
Some RFID devices can capture additional data fields due to enhanced functionality of these devices:
- Zebra (when using Zebra IOT Connector)
- Direction (when using an ATR7000 in directionality mode)
- GPS_Latitude (when using an FXR90)
- GPS_Longitude (when using an FXR90)
- Feig
- Direction (when using a U500-DM reader)
Bluetooth gateway devices that scan for BLE Beacons support a different set of fields. These include pre-parsed fields based on the Beacon type:
- MAC
- Distance
- Data
- Antenna
- AntennPort
- PeakRSSI
- DateTime
- ReaderName
- StartEvent
- Count
- TagEvent
- UUID (iBeacon)
- Major (iBeacon)
- Minor (iBeacon)
- Namespace (Eddystone UID)
- Instance (Eddystone UID)
- Voltage (Eddystone TLM)
- Temperature (Eddystone TLM)
- URL (Eddystone URL)
