FX7500 and FX9600 Configurations Without USB Hub

Zebra announces new FX7500 and FX9600 fixed reader configurations that exclude a non-critical, constrained component. These new configurations of FX7500 and FX9600 will be available without the internal USB hub. The internal USB hub on FX7500 and FX9600 fixed readers is used to connect Bluetooth or Wi-Fi dongles to enable wireless communications and as a method of performing firmware updates. While these functions can still be utilized, an external passive or powered USB hub will need to be attached instead of plugging a USB directly into the reader’s USB port.
